How a put-in works

Scan the reel, then push it into any empty bay. Nothing is lit: the sensor says where it went, and Janus records it there.

What the steps mean

A square step is recorded by Janus. A round step is confirmed by the rack’s sensor at the bay.

Put in, or take out. Not both.

Safe: do only one. The first change the sensor sees is recorded; the other request goes back to its list.
