Counts

How a count works

A count checks identity: at each bay the counter pulls the reel, scans it and pushes it back, and the sensor confirms it back in its bay. The sensor confirms the empty bays without a visit.

Where the record and the count disagree, a supervisor posts the difference with an existing movement. A closed count is final; a recount is a new count.
