How a count is posted
The counter pulled each reel, scanned it and pushed it back; the sensor confirmed each reel back in its bay and each empty bay. A bay where the record and the count disagree is a difference.
Each difference is posted once, by a supervisor, with an existing movement. Its receipt lists what it closed.
A closed count is final. A recount is a new count that cites this one.
